A severe weather event in Southern California which included a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. Chased from Lake Elsinore to the coastal communities of Oceanside, San Clemente, and Dana Point.
March 29, 2016 - Inland Empire, CA
Cold core low sliding south from Nevada into the Mojave Desert region of San Bernardino County in SoCal triggered thunderstorms across the Inland Empire region on March 29, 2016. Chased a thunderstorm from inception to dissipation through Fontana, Rialto, and San Bernardino.
April 11, 2016 - Lake Elsinore, CA
Cold core low center positioned itself right over the Inland Empire region of Southern California spawning sub severe thunderstorms. Storms exhibited rotation including a brief cold air funnel over Lake Elsinore.
May 17, 2016 - Banning, CA
October 24, 2016 - Temescal Valley, CA
Strong thunderstorms rolled across Southern California in seemingly endless training for over 24 hrs straight. I chased a series of thunderstorms as they moved into Temescal Valley, just south of Corona.
