July 13, 2019 - Ranchita, CA
First chase of monsoon season 2019! Isolated garden variety monsoon thunderstorm formed over the mountains of San Diego County near Ranchita (southweast of Warner Springs). Not much ado as the cell collapsed not long after I was in position north of the cell.
July 23, 2019 - Perris, CA
First Elsinore Converence Zone event of the season. Tracked a thunderstorm over Perris that produced a possible weak landspout.
July 24, 2019 - Perris, CA
A thunderstorm formed along the Elsinore Convergence Zone south of Perris. It produced a microburst over the communities of Canyon Hills and Canyon Lake. I postioned myself on the south side of Perris to observe the storm and was treated to seemingly endless dirt devil spin-ups and dust storms.
July 25, 2019 - Ranchita, CA
Chased storms again in the mountains of San Diego County near Warner Springs. Intercepted a strong thunderstorm over Ranchita.
September 3, 2019 - Apple Valley, CA
Intercepted a weak thunderstorm over Apple Valley. Nothing spectacular except for a few close proximity lightning strikes.
September 4, 2019 - Temecula, CA
Intercepted a severe thunderstorm on the east side of Temecula as it moved northwest off the off the Santa Rosa Mtns.
September 5, 2019 - Oak Grove, CA
Chase a a severe thunderstorm in the Santa Rosa Mtns of Southern California near the outpost of Oak Grove.
September 23, 2019 - Arizona
Chased a significant Enhanced Risk in western/central Arizona..
September 26, 2019 - Ranchita, CA
Last chase of monsoon season. Intercepted a severe thunderstorm in the Santa Rosa Mountains of San Diego County near Ranchita.
